Properties
Monopotassium phosphate is colorless or white crystalline granule or crystalline powder, odorless, steady in air, relative density 2.338, melting point 96 ℃-253 ℃, easily soluble in water (83.5g/100ml, 90 ℃), PH4.2-4.7 in 2.7% aqueous solution, but insoluble in ethanol.
Applications
Monopotassium phosphate is used to make potassium polyphosphate, and used as basic material for N,P,K compound fertilizer. It can also used as food additive. It can used in food industry as buffer agent, sequestering binder, yeast dietary agent flavor, enhancers, dietary supplement, ferment, supplement, expansion, agent etc.
Storage & handling
Packing: It is packed with plastic bag as liner, and a compound plastic woven bag as the outer layer, net weight of each bag is 25kg.
Storage and handling: Keep in cool dry place. It should be stored in a dry and ventilate warehouse; kept away form water and moisture during transportation with care to avoid damage to bags Furthermore, it should be stored separately from poisonous Substances.
